
UA PRIDE Grant
The UA PRIDE Grant supports LGBTQ+ Sport Nonprofits to help alleviate the immediate needs and support the long-term recovery of those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are seeking organizations that are finding innovative ways to continue to connect and impact their communities with a mindset of Through This Together.
2020 PRIDE Collection
Eligible Organizations
- Organizations based in Baltimore, MD or Austin, TX
- 501 c (3) nonprofit organizations
- Organizations and programming that support and serve LGBTQ+ youth athletes
- Eligible programing includes: moving to virtual programming, supporting community members impacted by the virus, providing at home health and fitness resources/programming, or general operating support for organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community who are facing budget crises

Stonewall Sports Baltimore
(Baltimore, MD) is a nonprofit, community-based sports organization for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies that aims to create a low-cost, high-fun community where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves in organized sports.

Hill Country Ride for Aids
(Austin, TX) is the largest fundraiser in central Texas for HIV/AIDS services. A family-friendly and festive bike ride through the beautiful hill country, the Ride raises funds that are given directly to nine local nonprofits who help those in our community affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Baltimore Transgender Alliance
(Baltimore, MD) is a coalition of trans-led organizations and trans leaders in Baltimore City working to empower gender expansive individuals through advocacy and education.

Youth Empowered Society
(Baltimore, MD) puts youth experiencing homeless on a pathway to stability by focusing on immediate needs, long-term stability, and systems transformation. The organization’s vision is that all of Baltimore’s youth will easily access supportive services and stable housing to become powerful in their own lives.

The Pride Center of Maryland
(Baltimore, MD) is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ centers in the nation. Their mission is to be a catalyst for uniting and empowering sexual and gender minorities in Baltimore and Maryland, and to advocate for a better quality of life for the entire community.
