Team UA Virtually Runs 9/11 Heroes Run
The Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run unites communities internationally with the goal to never forget the sacrifices of the heroes of September 11th and the wars since: veteran, first responder, civilian and military. This year, the run is going virtual and teammates from across the country are gearing up to participate during the month of September.
Supporting Our Heroes
The Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) is a national veteran serving organization named for a Marine killed in Iraq in 2007. TMF is a community, led by veterans and families of the fallen, that serve together, empower one another, and develop character in the next generation. The TMF community is guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…”, which describes the sense of duty felt by service members and their families. Today it is a constant reminder for all of us to live with character and put the interests of others before our own.
UA has partnered with Travis Manion since 2018, and became the national sponsor for the Character Does Matter (CDM) programming in 2019 which impacts nearly 45,000 youth each year. During COVID-19, funding from UA Freedom allowed TMF to pivot to the virtual CDM programming: Character Isn’t Cancelled.
